Who can enter
Independent studios, in-house teams and students are all eligible, across graphic design, packaging, motion, type design and digital craft. A student entry is judged on the same rubric as professional work, with intent read alongside finish. You submit under the name of the studio, team or individual who made the work, and you confirm you hold the rights to everything in the file.
The two-stage review
Every entry passes a technical check first: file specs, category fit and rights clearance. Only then does it reach jury scoring. If a file fails the technical check, it is held back rather than scored, and the entrant is told what needs correcting. Category fit is judged on what the work is, not on where you would prefer it to sit.
Jury decisions
The jury rotates each cycle and is made up of practicing designers. Jurors score against a shared rubric and write the notes that later appear in the archive. Scoring decisions are final within the cycle in which they are made, and a new panel is seated for the next one. We do not disclose individual juror scores or reopen a completed cycle.
What gets published
Each cycle publishes a searchable archive of shortlisted work with jury notes, category rationale and credits, plus a calendar of deadlines and a small printed annual. By submitting, you grant us the right to reproduce the entry, your credits and the jury note in that record. If a credit is wrong, tell us before the archive is published and we will correct it.
Using the archive
The archive is there to be read, cited and compared against your own work. You may reference shortlisted entries with attribution to the credited studio or designer. You may not resell the archive, republish it wholesale, or present shortlisted work as your own. Jury notes belong to the cycle in which they were written and should be quoted as such.
Limits and changes
The website provides information and a contact form. It does not create user accounts, accept project files, or complete award registrations. A sent enquiry is stored locally but does not constitute an awards entry. Current procedures and deadlines must be confirmed with the team. We may update these terms; legal questions go to
support@interawards.com.
